Are You Keeping Your Faith?

If there is one cornerstone crucial to your success in anything – life, business, relationships – it has to be faith.

Simply put, if you don’t believe in what you are doing, how can you possibly expect for what you want to come about?

It is easy to be a believer and have faith when things are going well. What happens if some things don’t quite go according to plan and you find yourself in a space you didn’t intend to be in?

Do you still have faith in your purpose and your vision? Do you just know that you are getting through this and that you are still moving toward that which you desire?

How about the people in your life that are not enthused about your vision or your journey? Their opinions and comments may be easy to brush off on a good day. How about when things may be a little on the tight side?

Is your faith contingent upon what other people say, think or do? Or is your faith where it belongs – within you?

The bottom line is that it is ALL about you. If you don’t believe in what you are doing, nobody else can do it for you.

Your supporters can believe in you - they cannot believe FOR you.

“When you come to the end of all the light you know, and you step into the darkness, Faith says you will be given something solid to stand on, or you will be taught how to fly.”

The key to faith is believing in that which you may not have direct evidence of. True faith does not require proof.

Obviously, you are in business for a reason, and it is essential that you produce results. Yet, your results are not the true depiction of your success.

Yes, your results are telling you the truth, and they are a clear depiction of what is currently happening in your life and business.

If you are tied to them, you will feel successful when your results are good and unsuccessful when they are not quite what you want.

When you have faith, and you truly believe in your vision and the journey you are on, you are focused on the bigger picture and the fluctuations in your results just don’t matter.

The only thing that truly matters is that you believe in yourself and you have faith that you are achieving that which your hear desires.

And, don’t allow anyone to tell you otherwise or shift you out of that space.

Keep Your Eye on Your Prize Coaching

The economy continues to take interesting twists and turns. You continue to hear dismal news about Wall Street, the credit crisis, bank failures, and so on. When is it going to get better?

Economic times like this can have a huge impact on your home business. Consumer confidence drops and many folks prepare for the worst by minimizing their discretionary spending.

When the marketplace changes, your current business strategies may have to shift also.

The dinosaurs died out because they could not adapt to rapidly changing climate conditions.

To stay effective, you simply must be able to respond to circumstances to maintain your optimal position and keep your momentum going.

One thing that should NOT change is your vision.

Remember the feeling you get when you think about what you are going to accomplish? The life you are going to be living?

Although a shift in strategy is required, it should not put your dreams on hold.

Your vision is what this journey is all about. It gives you purpose and direction. It gives you energy and inspiration when things may not feel optimal for you.

At interesting times like these, your vision is THE most important thing to keep in front of you.

No matter what happens to you or around you, your destination does not change. When you have a crystal clear focus on where you are going, and the life you are going to be living, you always have something solid to focus on. Something to keep your eye on, to see thru the times that may feel not-quite-right.

It isn't always easy to stay focused on your dreams when events are happening that may require your immediate attention. If you stop thinking about where you are going, what are you going to be focused on?

Keeping your eye on the prize is all about having a clear sense of direction for everything that you do.

So, how do you stay focused on your vision and not get sidetracked by the news, public opinion, or the things that don't quite go as you hoped?

How do you look beyond the things that are 'not quite right' and maintain your momentum toward that which you desire?
